Book Club for Wellness Professionals
Like Books? Love Learning? Looking for a Change?
Service Description
---- This group is for wellness professionals, only. If you're interested in joining something similar, stay tuned for Wellness Book Club + Coaching for any participant, soon! ---- Do you enjoy learning about research and application that pertains to not just your practice, but also your own well-being? Have you been intrigued with the mountain of books on improving things in your or your patients/client's life but feel like there's no time to get caught up on everything? I find myself wishing I had a friend or two I could read along with so I could stay active and accountable in my reading. This, plus the posed questions above, are why I want to connect with fellow providers in the reflections of good reading! Each month we will read one book, although some books might take 2 months to fully get through. With a helpful guide to dig into each book in a meaningful way to *you* and your patients/clients, we'll cover topics that can help transform your personal life and professional life, alike, while also contributing to your clients' and patients' health and wellness. We'll read about: -Relationships -Burnout -Sleep -Purpose and Meaning -Grief -Body-positivity ...and so forth. Together in a small group setting, we'll discuss our thoughts of the book, dissect its most relatable and inspired qualities, and build curiosity in what and how to successfully implement those bites of wisdom into strategy for daily living, where applicable. We'll even chat about how well we think the book will work for clients in our fields of practice - why or why not. Ready to get reading? :) Topics for the first year include (with possibility of changing if a new, pressing book comes out!)
